Graduate School of Government and Business

The Graduate School of Government and Business researches and teaches theories and practices in the changing society under Yonsei’s founding principles of truth and freedom. It was established in March 1990 to contribute to social development by nurturing talents with leadership, creativity, and capability.

The Graduate School of Government and Business (GSGB) at Yonsei University Mirae Campus is a premier institution dedicated to fostering global leaders through advanced education and interdisciplinary research. Since its inception in March 1990, the GSGB has served as a strategic academic hub, integrating public administration, and management to solve complex social and economic challenges. GSGB has been a pivotal partner in international development, contributing to the sustainable growth of the developing countries. For over 12 years, we have successfully managed prestigious KOICA Master’s Programs, ranging from the "World Poverty Alleviation and Rural Development Leadership" to the "Enhancement of Women's Agricultural Policy Capacity." Through these programs, we have trained numerous high-ranking officials and policymakers from developing countries, establishing an unrivaled track record in global human resource development. The commitment to academic excellence is further demonstrated by our participation in the BK21 (Brain Korea 21) Project. Since 2013, our "Law, Politics, and Administration" panel has led a long-term initiative focused on nurturing next-generation scholars and experts in public administration. This prestigious government-funded project ensures that our graduate students are trained under the highest research standards, blending rigorous academic theory with data-driven policy analysis.

In Feb 2027 the graduate school opened a new Master’s Degree Program in Social Economy.
